“Business Administration is an exciting, application-oriented and applied science”

“Successful companies and managers often become objects of fascination in our society. Over the course of the Business Administration degree we will take a look behind the scenes of this success by viewing value creation from various angles. We will examine structures and processes along with human behaviour. We will look at hard figures as well as qualitative criteria. We will see where companies fit into our complex environment and tackle the challenging question of how it is possible to operate successfully in both economic and social terms.

Business Administration graduates are all-rounders who can make a career in various areas of business. At BSP you can also become a specialist by focusing on one forward-looking professional field: Start-up and SME Management, Health Management or Sports Management. In doing so you will gain an additional qualification to further improve your employability.

See for yourself: Business Administration is an exciting, application-oriented and applied science!”

What is Business Administration?

Since optimal value creation can only be achieved in practice when quality standards are very high, the function of management has a particular status within the Business Administration degree programme. This covers the management process from planning, organisation and leadership to human resources and control.

As well as professional competence in business, this course will teach you key methodological competences and the soft skills essential for professional practice through tailored training sessions.

At BSP we regard Business Administration as an application-oriented and applied science. In the course of your Business Administration degree you will therefore continuously put theoretical models to the test in case studies and simulations. You will also apply and reflect on these models in real-life situations during two compulsory project study phases, thus additionally gaining an occupational competence.

What makes this area of occupational competence special is the opportunity to choose from the forward-looking occupational field:

Practical orientation

The Business Administration degree programme was developed on the basis of practical requirements. It will therefore give you a strong orientation towards potential applications as well as a solid scientific foundation. In many cases you will apply your competences to concrete projects for real clients, and two integrated project study modules will give you insights into the day-to-day practice of attractive occupational fields.

Alongside the full-time professors at BSP Business School Berlin Potsdam, we hire selected business professionals as lecturers to instil your teaching programme with exciting insights from their respective industries.
