Information on internships

By completing an internship you can gain vital contacts and experience for your subsequent career before you graduate. During the internship you will become familiar with the regular operating business of the company, take on your own projects, and also gain a rich insight into your chosen professional field. This will enable you to find your bearings at an early stage and decide whether the path you are considering is the right one for you.

If your degree course includes a project study semester, comprehensive information and guidance on this topic will be provided through events held prior to the semester in question.

You can get further information and support on internship-related questions:

  • from the university management (regarding administrative matters),
  • from your course leaders (regarding whether a company comes into question for an internship),
  • from the Career Center (if you are looking for an internship place),
  • from the International Office (regarding scholarships for internships abroad).

Companies are welcome to send their vacancies directly by email to Aljoscha Heyland. We personally check every job posting and will make contact with you where appropriate.
